POSITION: Graduate Structural Engineer
SALARY: £19k – £23k per annum

Located in Sheffield, we are currently working in unison with an established manufacturing firm who provide services to the structural and civil engineering sectors. Due to continued demand for their products and services, they are now looking to appoint a number of graduate structural engineer to work within their New product development team.

Varied in scope, the technical role would involve Working alongside the design team, where by you will be involved in Producing safe, practical, and cost-effective solutions to design problems encountered by Specifiers and Contractors. In conjunction with this you will be expected to respond to verbal and written technical enquiries regarding the company’s products with technically correct and well presented solutions using standard products, adaptations, and bespoke items.

With that in mind a strong technical awareness of the structural and built environment would be advantageous. To be considered for these role you will need to have the following:

> Ability to understand structural problems, and able to produce solutions supported by calculations, engineering principles and past experience
> Structural engineering degree
> At least one / two years structural engineering experience
> Engineering relevant degree / qualifications – such as structural engineering, civil engineering, or a building related course, for instance, interior design.
> Auto CAD experience
> Approachable
> Good communication skills
> Practical understanding of construction methods
