SALARY: £12.69 – £14.60ph
HOURS: Two shifts (6am till 2pm / 2pm till 10pm)
Located in Deeside, Wales, we are currently working in conjunction with a large manufacturing company who due to continued growth are now looking to appoint an experienced mechanically biased maintenance fitter. Please note that this job is not based in Scotland.
The main role of the job is to repair and maintain a variety of high volume manufacturing plant and equipment.
This includes undertaking a range of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical, work required necessary to identify faults and repair issues in line with best practice and current H&S requirements.
The primary accountabilities of the role are:
> To maintain and repair all production machines.
> Work effectively to maintain schedules and orders
> Record all daily maintenance activity
> Fast paced production environment
You will need the following:
> Time served / apprentice trained
> Mechanical qualification
> City and guilds electrical parts 1&2, or equivalent (desirable not essential)
> Experience from working within a manufacturing environment
> Maintenance experience, ideally preventative
> Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics
> PLC Experience (desirable) but not essential
> Experience of fast paced manfuacturing environment
The role involves working on a two shift system of mornings and afternoons, so 6am till 2pm and then 2pm till 10pm. This is a permanent position offering a basic pay rate of £12.69ph with overtime available.
